The Illusion of Difference

After two days of talks, panels and hopefully mind-bending insights we wanted to have a session to prove how the mind creates a false perceived sense of “difference” or inequality, and how realizing that changes everything. Difference doesn’t exist outside of thought, or in other words: we are not different we just think we are. In this hopeful and thought provoking talk, Eirik will be joined by Jenny Anderson who has travelled the world seeing this first-hand across any field, demographic or geographic location – and Bill Petitt, who has decades of experience as a psychiatrist – seeing with his own eyes that we are the same, and that difference is indeed just a thought-generated illusion. This redefines “us vs them” from something to overcome to something to see just isn’t true.
