Jacqueline Hollows is the founder of Beyond Recovery C.I.C, whose social mission is to revolutionise the way addictions and mental health are viewed and treated and to eliminate stigma. Through sharing an understanding of how our experience of life is created from our own minds, the work that Beyond Recovery (BR) does has the potential to reform our criminal justice system from the inside out. The impact on the lives of people BR work with and the results on the broader community have been phenomenal.
Jacqueline is also honoured to have been able to share stories and stats from this work at a number of national and international speaking events. Jacqueline says “I have been working within the criminal justice system (with support professionals and prisoners) over the last three years, sharing how our experience of life is created from our own minds. I have seen that, through a fresh thought in any moment, a deeper level of common sense, wellbeing and resilience is always available.”
