Upon completion of this degree, he joined the business school as senior lecturer in healthcare management and leadership.

His main focus is currently authentic leadership and personal transformation. His extensive leadership participation in the medical profession includes serving the boards of the South African Medical Association, the Council for Health Services Accreditation of Southern Africa, and the College of Family Physicians of South Africa.
